How to Dry It Properly
Banish the tumble dryer, which weakens the material and can deform the elastic. Prefer flat drying, in the open air, away from direct sunlight to prevent colors from fading.
When to Replace Your Satin Bonnet
- The elastic loosens and no longer holds the bonnet in place during the night.
- The material becomes rough to the touch despite washing — a sign of fiber wear.
- Stains or odors persist after washing.
